  1. Report on the teaching schedule proposed by the departments and propose the organization of the schedule and the distribution of assessments and examinations to the School Board.
  2. Liaise with departments to organize, if agreed by the School or College Board, an academic tutorship scheme for students.
  3. Assess possible overlaps between contents from different disciplines or unmet requirements for subsequent subjects based on reports drafted by the respective Degree Programme Academic Committee.
  4. Mediate in conflicts arising from teaching at the School or College based on reports drafted by the respective Degree Programme Academic Committee.
  5. Propose the organization of subjects by terms in accordance with annual results indicators and coordination criteria based on reports drafted by the respective Degree Programme Academic Committee.
  6. Establish criteria for the academic recognition of credits for participating in cultural, sports, student representation, charity and cooperation activities in higher education, subject to consultation with representatives of student associations and the Students' Guild, as provided in RD 1393/2007.
  7. Establish a policy enabling students to attend students association meetings and functions and undertake student representative duties without any prejudice whatsoever to the participants.
  8. Submit to the School Board the model for assessing teaching by teaching and research staff, considering the provisions of the university-approved model.
  9. Submit to the School Board criteria for recognizing English language education and participation and engagement in the range of degree management duties.
  10. Assume any powers that are delegated to it by the School Board or bestowed upon it under the regulations.
