Scope, structure and relationship to other committees (adopted by School Board decision taken at meeting no. 130 on 8 April 2010)

• There shall be one exemption committee for each year, responsible for subject exemptions
• Committees shall meet every term

Membership (adopted by School Board decision taken at meeting no. 130 on 8 April 2010)

Ex officio full members:

• Each committee shall be composed of members of the respective Term Horizontal Coordination Committees (see provision 6)
  • Two members elected by and from the committee members shall act as Committee Chair and Secretary

Functions and competences (adopted by School Board decision taken at meeting no. 130 on 8 April 2010)

This committee shall be responsible for subject exemptions in the following cases:

1. When there is documentary evidence that a subject has exceeded the established workload (ECTS).
2. When the set level of competences is considered to have been achieved.
